Answer: Romani Ite Domum

Initially, Brian writes "Romanes Eunt Domus" which (according to the centurion) translates as "People called Rome, they go the house." While my knuckles still have scars from being struck with Sister Gabriella's ruler, at least she (my high school Latin teacher) never put a sword to my throat.

61 "Silence! ... You'll find yourselves in gladiator school very quickly with ___ behavior like that!"

Pontius Pilate is responding to the centurion's (Cleese) telling Pilate (Palin) that 'Bigus Dickus' is a joke name. Pilate replies, "I have a very great friend in Rome called 'Bigus Dickus'". The centurions are not able to control their laughter, and the outburst above follows.

One of the funniest scenes in the film. (This is said when Brian is brought before Pontius Pilate after being caught in the palace.)

The ex-leper (Michael Palin) laments his condition by responding thusly to Brian's query regarding who cured his leprosy, 'Jesus did, sir. I was hopping along, minding my own business. All of a sudden, up he comes. Cures me. One minute I'm a leper with a trade, next minute my livelihood's gone. Not so much as a by your leave. 'You're cured mate.' Bloody do-gooder.'

Of course, the ex-leper doesn't want to become a leper again, a simple limp will do nicely.

This is said during the 'big nose' argument. One of my favourite scenes in the movie!

69 Hard one (perhaps not to some). What is the crowd's fake character of "Roderick" accused of being? (all of them)
Answer: robber, rapist and pickpocket

Very funny scene, but I do feel sorry for those with speech impediments watching it. (This is said when Pontius Pilate is giving his Passover speech.)

The Campaign for Free Galilee, complete with uniforms and their own official salute, has been planning this raid for months. The struggle between the two groups, of course, dooms the entire endeavor to failure.
72 Returning home, Brian and his mum encounter a Roman officer. When Brian inquires, with his mother, about the purpose of the officer's visit, what horrible secret does she reveal?
Answer: Brian's father was a Roman

Of course, she really is a man, but is that so horrible? In all seriousness (and I must be serious for this quiz), Brian's last name is not really Cohen. His father was a Roman named Nortius Maximus who promised Brian's mum, among other things, slaves, asses' milk and as much gold as she could eat. Brian rejects his heritage, claiming himself proudly to be 'kosher' and a 'Red Sea pedestrian', among other things.

Thank you for joining me here. You are certainly welcome back for part two of this forty-seven part series on Monty Python's 'Life of Brian'.
73 "If this is how you treat your poor mother in the _______ years of her life, then go ahead and be crucified. See if I care."
Answer: autumn

Brian's mother says this when she sees him being crucified, near the end of the film.

Answer: 16 Shekels

And he got a free gourd to boot. Still, he had to haggle a fair bit for it and almost got caught by the Romans.

75 In what order do the people who could (but don't) rescue Brian arrive at the crucifixion.
Answer: People's Front of Judea, The Romans, Judean People's Front, Judith, Brian's Mother.

A very funny scene where several people that Brian hopes will save him turn up but none of them do. Ends with Eric Idle singing "Bright Side of Life".
